My choice: One of the most icon characters in the Marvel Universe. And it's that same iconic status that makes me wish her dead.

Don't get me wrong: Civil War!May was thirty-one flavors of awesome. As is Ultimate!May. I'm talking about "Classic" May Parker. The frail, dithering, clueless two-legged plot device Marvel keeps insisting on reverting her to.

IMHO, she really should've stayed dead after ASM #400.

It was a perfect sendoff to such a character: One last hurrah while simultaneously showing that she wasn't as stupid as she seemed. The Voodoo Shark needed to bring her back, to me, highlighted just how little she brings to the table other than giving Peter a major source of angst.
When she shakes off Mr. Negative's mojo and reverts to being Jarvis' distaff counterpart, then we'll talk.
